Steps

- Prepare your ingredients. For each margarita you will need: 35ml (1¼fl oz) Reposado Tequila, 20ml (¾fl oz) Cointreau, 35ml (1¼fl oz) fresh lime juice, a handful of ice cubes and a wedge of lime to garnish.

- Prepare the glass. Take a martini glass,, dampen the rim with water and then lightly dip in salt. This should coat just the rim with a fine crust of salt crystals.

- Pour into the shaker. Pour the Tequila, Cointreau and lime juice into a cocktail shaker.

- Chuck in a handful of ice cubes and shake vigorously for 10-15 seconds.

- Pour the mixture through a strainer into the Martini glass.

- Garnish. Place a slit in the wedge of lime in order for you to fix it on the rim of the glass.
